I sometimes go by Sam Poe.
I'm a Finnish-Hungarian artist living and working in Helsinki, Finland.
I work mostly in oil, pastel and ink.
As far as my education goes, I'm somewhere between classically educated and self-taught.
I've studied art at the University of Vermont (USA), Vapaa taidekoulu (Helsinki) and at a private art school in Budapest.
Since 2020, I've been a mentee of master portrait artist Stephen Bauman.
Works on this website are for sale unless otherwise stated. As of Fall, 2025, I'm also open for commissions.
